Landhaus

Linz, Oberösterreich, Österreich
  • All weather
  • Suitable for groups

The magnificent Renaissance building was built in the 16th century on the site of the Minorite monastery and is today the seat of the governor of Upper Austria, the state parliament and the state government.
The tower of the Landhaus can be climbed on special city tours. In the middle of the Italian-looking arcaded courtyard is the planetary fountain, reminiscent of Johannes Kepler. He taught for 14 years at the Protestant landscape school, which was once housed in the building.
