For people who come from the hustle and bustle of the city, our life here in the Donauschlinge seems idyllic, almost romantic. Nature, peace, homemade cake and animals. The bicycle ferry came when the cyclists came. Old farmer Monika bought a ferry and took the athletes across the river. Some stayed for a snack. Or longer.
