This first takes you 1.5 km along the Danube cycle path to the Rannamühle. Now it's 2 km up the mountain by 300 metres, where you reach Dorf.**3.5 km Dorf** : After about 400 m, turn left towards Pühret (the parish church is well worth a visit) and continue along the goods road to Groß- and Kleinmollsberg as far as Haitzendorf (a detour to Donaublick Penzenstein is possible just before Großmollsberg). **10 km Haitzendorf** : After approx. 150 m we find the "47er-Grenzstein" on the left. There we leave the paved road for a short distance and cross the German border in the direction of Gottsdorf. **13.5 km Gottsdorf** : There we turn right after the village sign and take the main road slightly uphill towards Linden. We stay on the main road, pass Linden and can already see the Ornatsöd farm. After a further 2 kilometres, we pass the farms on the left in Glotzing. There we cycle to the Ranna bathing lake. **19.0 km Ranna Badesee** : Right at the beginning of the **Ranna Badesee**, we leave the road to the right and follow the gravelled path to the dam wall. From the bridge, turn right through a short section of forest and from there take the main road to Oberkappel. Here you can take a detour to the Ranna valley nature reserve, the Kneipp fitness trail and the dam wall over the Ranna reservoir (not included in the tour planning). We continue to the Oberkappel crossroads, where we turn right towards Neustift. **25 km :** We cycle up the country road to the crossroads in Neustift (village sign, Donausteig starting point) and turn right there. Then we ride down the road until shortly before the end of the village. Before the car park at the OMV petrol station, we turn left down the road, come back through the forest to Hainzendorf and continue back towards Pühret. **28 km :** In Pühret we turn right after GH Weiss and cycle past the cemetery towards the forest. We take a wide forest path and keep left. A detour to the **Donaublick "Pühretstein"** is possible. After about 500 metres, we have crossed the forest and come to a paved field path that leads us back towards Dort. (alternative: asphalted path parallel to the field path). **30 km** : At the end of the country lane, we could make a detour to the **"Arme Sünder Kapelle"** and the **"Galgen"**, which is located on the Donausteig. We then reach the country road again, where we turn right.
