An event area of 1200 m² provides space for art and culture as well as festivals and events of all kinds. The newly renovated building is also home to the Eferding Regional Music School. More than 200 parking spaces are available right next to the cultural centre. Nibelungen Hall "Nu was diu küneginne ze Everdingen komen" - this original excerpt from the Nibelungenlied already points to the naming of the large event hall in the Bräuhaus, in reference to Eferding - the Nibelungen town. At table, the 358 m² Nibelungen Hall offers space for around 320 people - including a 100 m² gallery. With seating, a total of 520 seats are available. Brewing vault The cross-ribbed vault, supported by sturdy Tuscan columns, gives the brewing vault in the western wing of the Bräuhaus, the former ice cellar, its special flair. Beer was once brewed here, and later stored (until 1984). In the 163 m² hall there is a generously equipped bar, directly adjacent is the catering area with kitchen and cold rooms. At table, this room can seat around 65 people. The spatial separation from the Nibelungen Hall allows for a separate event area. Keplergewölbe The beautiful Keplergewölbe in the east wing of the building is 116 m² in size and can seat around 90 people at table. The hall-like room with its remarkable groined vault is suitable for celebrations of all kinds and can be used open to the Nibelungen Hall or completely closed off, as required. This room provides a dignified setting for civil weddings, hence the name Keplergewölbe. The famous astronomer Johannes Kepler was married in Eferding in 1613 - so the town is celebrating the opening of the Bräuhaus and 400 years of Kepler's wedding in 2013. Public event The elegant flair of the Kulturzentrum Bräuhaus provides the perfect setting for any public event - whether a concert, ball, gala, cabaret, theatre, dance or reading. The rooms offer space for up to 720 people. The sound and lighting system in the Nibelungensaal is state-of-the-art and can be expanded to meet individual requirements. Private celebration Would you like to celebrate your birthday, wedding, graduation etc. in style? The Bräuhaus offers the perfect venue for every occasion. The Nibelungen Hall and the two vaults provide the perfect setting for your private celebration. Weather permitting, you can also enjoy the ambience of the inner courtyard.
