# Closure of the Danube Bike Path R1 in the Langer Haufen area

Closure of the Danube Bike Path R1 in the Langer Haufen area
============================================================

Due to construction work on the Donaulände in the “Langer Haufen” area in the municipality of Pupping, the Danube Bike Path R1 will be closed starting **October 5, 2026** (weekdays, Monday through Friday).

To meet environmental requirements, construction equipment must primarily operate from the Treppelweg. Construction will continue through **March 2027**, with a weather-related hiatus between Christmas and mid-February.
